The 35th Reunion of the Ridgewood High School Class of 1977 is a milestone event. Our goal is to
rekindle relationships that may have gone dormant, and to create a wealth of new memories for all attendees. You might even call
the Reunion a do-over, a chance to reconnect with the past to try and get it right.
We are encouraging our RHS and Hohokus classmates from the late 70s to attend any or all of the planned events. Please invite your spouses,
significant others, and friends.The Weekend activities begin on
Friday night with the debut performance of the RHS Alumni All-Star Band at the Ridgewood Elks Club. On Saturday morning at 11:00 AM there will be a
tour, led by the RHS Ambassadors, of the newly renovated RHS. We will have a traditional Saturday night party with dinner, dancing, and door prizes
at the Marriot Park Ridge.
This Reunion is a gathering of old friends, the more friends we see this one weekend the better.
We are using Paypal for all ticket purchases.
Rooms for both Friday and Saturday nights at the Park Ridge Marriott are $99.
Please use this Park Ridge Marriott link to Book a room for either or both nights.

More details will be posted here and on Our FaceBook Page.

My favorite poet, William Butler Yeats, penned a poem I long ago committed to memory: When You Are Old. It inspires me to this day, and hopefully will reveal to you a purpose and reason for our 35th Reunion Weekend next summer. The poem suggests a comfort in old age. Its lines briefly trace the journey from youth to old age, and call to mind that we need to gather as many beautiful memories as we can during our short time on this planet. I hope this Reunion becomes just such a recollection for us all.
When you are old and grey and full of sleep,
And nodding by the fire, take down this book,
And slowly read, and dream of the soft look
Your eyes had once, and of their shadows deep;
How many loved your moments of glad grace,
And loved your beauty with love false or true,
But one man loved the pilgrim soul in you,
And loved the sorrows of your changing face;
And bending down beside the glowing bars,
Murmur, a little sadly, how Love fled
And paced upon the mountains overhead
And hid his face amid a crowd of stars.
